Jackson County residents can now renew vehicle registrations online through two different routes.

County Clerks will only have the ability to open new accounts, close accounts and sell Transit Vendor Licenses. Beginning January 1, 2010 all Business Tax Returns will be mailed directly from the Department of Revenue. Business owners must file the returns with the Department of Revenue. Any questions concerning Business Licenses call 1-800-342-1003 or go to the Department of Revenue.

This is a small office with limited staff members, therefore we do not perform genealogy research for customers . You are welcome to visit our office during regular County Clerk business hours for your research needs. This County Clerk office "ONLY" has Marriage records from 1881 to present. However, marriage records from 1881 through at least 1960 are currently housed that the Jackson County Archive Building. he Jackson County Archive Building contains all Marriage Records from 1881 through at least 1960. The County Clerk's office has no birth nor death records .
